You might wonder: What are they going to do with all those nettles? Three buckets full! There are really endless uses for the nettle. And if you ever tried them in some way or another, they are not just really, really nutritious, but also really tasty if used in the right way with the right ingredients. Ask our children (aged 10 and 3), they absolutely love the taste of nettle! - And this is what we did: 2 buckets full where blanched in boiling water, and the now shrunk material packed into freezer bags for the winter to be used as the most delicious spinach substitute. Use it wherever you would use spinach. Our favorite one is as a pizza topping, so juicy and fresh, hmmm. |

- Nettles (enough to fill a pot)
- Potatoes (about 4-5 big ones,
cut into biggish cubes)
- 2 large onions per cooking pot
- some stock cube
- Seasoning
